In 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified, giving women in the United States the right to make their voices heard at the ballot box. We join with the rest of the country in celebrating the 100th anniversary of this momentous occasion on August 26! We have several books, for interested readers of all ages, that tell the story of the women (and men) who fought so valiantly to extend this basic right to their sisters, mothers, daughters, and on down to us. Come on in and check them out!
